TIPS FOR PLANNING A CAMPING WEDDING
If you're looking for some tips on producing the most AMAZING wedding Glamping party, you're in the right place!
Cornwall and Devon are literally FULL of beautiful glamping locations and options for Bell Tent parties. Perfect locations for couples that are outdoorsy and love being as close as possible to nature. So here are some tips to make planning your outdoor wedding more fun and less, well, daunting.
An outdoor Glamping wedding is an experience, just like a destination wedding. The best way to get guests feeling excited and prepared is having a wedding website. This is an easy way to gather and communicate relevant party information in one place. Along with information about your wedding location, you can add a link to your Glamping accommodation booking webpage, hosted by Ysella. One click (or scan of a QR code if you prefer) will take your guests to a reservation webpage, where they can choose, book and pay directly for their party Bell Tents. We include key details that will help your guests arrange their tented accommodation for the weekend, and provide various tent sharing options. Helping to take some “to-dos” off your list.
Don’t forget that all of our party Bell Tents are provided with super comfy beds that are ready-made, with rugs, lanterns and cushions. So guests don’t need to worry about packing sleeping bags, or sleeping on the cold hard floor. Providing real beds also means that elderly guests can enjoy a glamping experience and feel involved too!
DON'T FORGET THE BASICS
Your guests will require portable toilets and showers. Consider a designated getting ready area when portable facilities are small. A children’s play tent can keep the little ones entertained so the don’t play under tables in the main tent or marquee. We offer 'Getting Ready Tents' with vanity mirrors, clothes rails and toiletries. Also 'Children’s Play Tents', with wipe clean tables and bean bags, and adults 'Chill Out' tents with soft furnishing for relaxing.
GIVE YOURSELF TIME
Allow enough time to set-up, and don’t forget to add signs to direct guests to each area. Up-cycled wooden pallets are good for this. Also great if you’re planning a sustainable / eco-friendly wedding.
STAY FULLY CHARGED
Part of the charm of being outdoors is being unplugged. But, you don’t want to miss out on capturing the fun. Consider a phone/camera charging station. Or our hireable portable power packs can be placed in each tent so guests can charge their devices over night. Portable power packs can be added individually as an hireable extra from your booking page.
FEEL GOOD
A celebration in one place, such as a tipi wedding with guest accommodation onsite, rather than a wedding that involves three separate venues is good for the environment, and will reduce the footprint of your wedding considerably! Ysella is the perfect match for eco-conscious couples with our environmentally mindful, low waste approach.
DON'T FORGET IT'S YOUR WEEKEND
After all that, don't forget that it's your weekend too! As well as supplying Bell Tents for your guests, spend your wedding night under the stars! Treat yourselves to a night of luxury in one of our beautiful Honeymoon Suites.
